Lee Palmer Turner
President-Elect, GBTA
Describing himself as a travel industry “lifer,” Lee began his travel career of nearly 40 years as a dogfighter, piloting F-14 Tomcats in the US Navy as a member of the elite Blacklions Squadron.
Proudly serving his country during his tour of duty Lee would then go on to spend 15 years “doing what he did best” as a commercial pilot with American Airlines spanning the globe and seeing the world before deciding to pursue a rewarding “ground career” on the corporate side of the travel industry where he has built a well-deserved reputation successfully managing the Global Travel programs for diverse and high profile companies that have included BMG Entertainment, the National Basketball Association, Symantec Corporation and now his current home as Corporate Travel Manager for Beverly Hills-based MGM Studios.
Presently serving as President-Elect on the Executive Board of your Los Angeles Chapter of the Global Business Travel Association.
